Interior Design for Heathrow’s Terminal 2 & 3 Paul Smith Clothing store

Fall 2020 - Metal work Fabrication - penny coins & a heavy use of brass and copper materials

Commissioned Project by Paul Smith ltd. Proposed idea was to create several organised panels tightly packed with 30,000 1p coins. For an updated look in Londons Heathrow terminal 2 & 3.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was commissioned by Paul Smith whilst working at Fabrication2000 to create several statement panels filled with one-penny coins. The work involved not only intricate detailing but also bespoke copper and brass frames that echoed the warm, metallic tones of the English coins. The project spanned six weeks and was shaped by delays in sourcing materials due to the global situation. Still, I remained committed to the company’s brief, capturing Paul Smith’s signature balance of timeless style with a playful edge.
